Managed technology services

Keep the technology beneath your Oracle environment secure, supported and ready to improve.

A successful implementation or migration does not remove the need for specialist technology management. Cloud resources must be monitored and controlled, databases maintained, integrations supported, access reviewed and applications changed without weakening the live service.

Namos’ eNlighten® Managed Services model brings flexible, component-based support across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle databases, Oracle Integration, identity and access, and applications built with APEX or Visual Builder. It is shaped with your people, around the expertise you already have and the resilience, confidence and improvement you want to build.

Where technology teams need support from Oracle Cloud Infrastructure managed services

Specialist knowledge is concentrated in too few people

Key environments can become dependent on individual administrators or developers, increasing operational risk and limiting capacity for improvement.

Support remains reactive

Recurring incidents, noisy alerts and unclear ownership consume time without addressing the underlying causes or improving resilience.

Cloud consumption and capacity are difficult to govern

Resources, storage, licensing and environments can grow without clear ownership, useful tagging or a regular view of cost against service value.

Change is creating avoidable risk

Database patches, integration releases, identity changes and application deployments need consistent impact assessment, testing, approval and recovery arrangements.

Stabilise, optimise and innovate

Understand and stabilise

Namos can take on technology we did not originally implement. We establish the estate, documentation, backlog, access, dependencies and service risks, then agree transition and stabilisation priorities.

Operate around what matters

Clear priorities and dependable service measures provide the foundation. We then look beyond ticket volumes to the experience of your teams, confidence in the platform and the improvements that create meaningful organisational value.

Prevent repeat issues

Trend incidents, investigate recurring failure, improve monitoring and runbooks, and identify where configuration, capacity, process or ownership needs to change.

Review value and risk

Use regular service reviews to consider performance, resilience, security, consumption, technical debt, Oracle change and the customer roadmap, —not simply report ticket volumes.

Optimise and innovate

Plan and implement agreed optimisation, release, integration, application or platform changes through proportionate governance. The roadmap can then introduce useful Oracle innovation without putting service stability at risk.

Assurance that looks beyond the service desk

A well-managed Oracle service needs more than responsive incident resolution. Risk, configuration drift, changing access, cloud consumption and supportability may not appear in a ticket until they begin to affect cost, control or service resilience.

The Namos Assurance Review provides a connected, evidence-led view across Oracle Cloud Applications and OCI. It can be commissioned through the Managed Services relationship as a focused assessment or used to support wider service improvement and roadmap discussions.

Depending on your estate and priorities, the review can consider:

  • Security and access, including roles, segregation of duties, privileged access, identity and ongoing governance
  • Alignment with relevant Oracle architecture, operational and cloud best practices
  • Reliability, resilience, monitoring, supportability and configuration management
  • OCI Universal Credit consumption, resource usage and cost controls
  • Areas where access, configuration or consumption decisions may be creating avoidable risk, effort or commercial exposure

Namos combines configuration and service evidence with focused stakeholder input. Findings are presented through a clear playback and prioritised improvement plan, with recommendations assessed against risk, value, effort and dependencies.

Where deeper analysis is required, the review can lead into a targeted application, technology or process health check, including the dedicated Namos Security Health Check. Actions can then be progressed through Managed Services, specialist delivery or your internal teams.

Knowledge shared, confidence built

Namos shares knowledge and the reasoning behind decisions, works openly with your teams and other partners, and gives you direct access to people who understand the environment. Whether you want greater self-sufficiency or continued specialist support, the relationship can evolve with your people and priorities.

Part of the wider eNlighten model

Managed Oracle Technology Services is the technical layer of the wider eNlighten proposition. It can work alongside Fusion ERP, HCM, and EPM support, bringing functional and technical specialists together where an issue crosses applications, integrations, databases, identity or OCI. Technical change can also connect into Testing and Release Assurance, Training and Adoption, or Optimise and Innovate services. Where an AI solution depends on OCI, database or integration services, those agreed technical components can transition into support without implying that every AI workload is automatically covered.

Transition into service

A structured transition captures architecture, inventories, access, support history, known errors, maintenance schedules, runbooks, recovery arrangements and supplier contacts. Namos validates monitoring and administrative access, tests escalation paths and agrees how project defects or technical debt will be handled. Where documentation is incomplete, discovery is planned rather than hidden inside day-to-day support.

Improvement backed by evidence

Operational data should guide the improvement roadmap. Regular reviews consider repeated incidents, ageing components, security findings, database growth, integration failures, performance, cloud consumption and upcoming Oracle changes. Namos turns those signals into prioritised actions with an owner, expected benefit and delivery route, whether completed within the service, handled as a defined change or incorporated into a wider programme.

Customers retain visibility through agreed reporting, service reviews and access to the information behind key decisions. This keeps the relationship collaborative and makes it possible to adjust Namos responsibility as internal capability, priorities or risk change.
