HESA Submission

Efficient online tool for accurate staff data return to HESA

Building a staff HESA return can be a time-consuming process – but it doesn’t have to be. At a time when the Higher Education sector is under increased pressure to show efficiencies, it is somewhat ironic that one of the key pieces of management information that feeds into those discussions, the staff HESA return, is often such an inefficient process. This is due to the level of detail required and the way data is often stored across multiple systems, making the process even more complex.

How Namos helps

Namos’ eNsure® HESA Submission App is a cloud-based solution designed to simplify and automate key stages of the HESA staff return process. It extracts your HR data, maps it into the HESA-defined model, and validates it against over 130 business and exception rules – flagging issues clearly and enabling automated corrections or manual fixes, all with a full audit trail.

The app works with any HCM system, not just Oracle, and can be embedded within your existing HCM environment via single sign-on (SSO) or deployed as a standalone solution – whichever suits you best.

What it does

The eNsure® HESA Submission App reduces the heavy lifting involved in building a staff HESA return. Namos brings deep expertise in Higher Education, HR and HESA to deliver a solution that maps your data, and helps improve submission accuracy and supports alignment with HESA requirements.

Built on Oracle technology and hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), we provide secure, scalable and reliable HESA submission capability, complete with reporting, dashboards and governance tools.

“This has been a challenging, yet rewarding project for all parties concerned and I am delighted the Namos HESA submission tool is now deployed to our HRIS Team. The tool is increasing our efficiency, as well as ensuring our first pass data is accurate and freeing up our time, so we can serve the University better.”
