With a New Year, comes another set of new features and enhancements in Recruiting and Recruiting Booster. Oracle are starting 2025 with a bang in the latest release for 25A, including more exciting Redwood features for Hiring Managers and Recruiters.
Redwood Experience: Attachments for Outbound and Inbound Emails
A highly anticipated feature is finally here in Redwood — email attachments! You can now send supporting documents by attaching files to outgoing emails and receive attachments from candidates. You will even be able to send attachments in bulk from candidate lists in candidate pools, job applications, prospects, events, and search pages. This streamlines communication and is an absolute game-changer.
A point to note, you must have Recruiting Booster with Two-Way Communication enabled to receive incoming emails from candidates.

Redwood Experience: Create Candidate
As of 25A, the Create Candidate action has now been made available on the prospects, candidate pool members, candidate search, and event audience candidate lists.
When you create candidates within a prospect or event context, they are automatically invited to apply for the job requisition or register for the event, providing a more efficient and streamlined process. In the candidate pool context, candidates are also automatically added to the pool.

If you have already enabled the Candidate List and Details Pages in prior releases, there are no steps required to enable this feature.
Redwood Experience: Create a Job Requisition
Another great addition to the Redwood recreated pages is the introduction of the new job requisition creation flow. Key updates and considerations when transitioning to this page include:
- The Hiring Manager field is no longer autopopulated with the logged in user’s information. By default, this field remains blank, however customers can set a default value according to their business process if they wish.
- The job requisition creation flow specific to the Hiring Manager role is no longer available. In the Redwood Experience, all Recruiting users have access to the same unified job requisition creation flow, with all the sections. Organisations can still customise the visibility of specific sections for different roles if needed.
- Users with the seeded Hiring Manager role now have the ability to save, edit and submit job requisitions. Even without the Update Job Requisition privilege, they can see the Save and Close and Submit buttons, allowing them to save drafts as necessary. This is another feature that customers have been requesting for some time.
- Once users have completed the first three sections (How to Start, Basic Info and Hiring Team) they can move to any section to complete the information without following a particular order.
- The Organisation field is no longer a mandatory requirement for saving or submitting a job requisition.
- A new Licenses and certifications section has been added to the job requisition creation flow. This section is hidden by default in both the creation and view and edit flows. Customers can enable it by creating rules in Visual Builder Studio.
- Screening services are now organised into separate sections: Background checks, Assessments, and Tax credits. Users can add partners and packages for background checks and assessments using a one-step guided process.
- AI Agent support has been integrated to assist users in creating job requisitions. The AI Agent provides answers to field-specific questions, clarifies recruiting policies, and ensures users complete requisitions accurately and efficiently, minimising potential issues downstream.
The updates represent a significant improvement in user experience and are sure to be a hit with our ORC customers.
Redwood Experience: Job Application List and Details Pages
Building on the new features delivered for list and details pages in 24A – 24C, the job application list and job application details pages have also been recreated for the new UI.
When the Redwood profile option is enabled, users will see the new Redwood job applications list and upon selecting a candidate, the redesigned job application details page.
The new job application list page will significantly enhance the user experience, offering many filters that aren’t available on the responsive pages. The job application details page now features fewer tabs, with information logically grouped to display more details on a single page.
Job Applications List

Job Application Details Page

If you have already enabled the Candidate List and Details Pages in prior releases, there are no steps required to enable this feature.
Redwood Experience: Job Offer Details Page
The job offer details page used for viewing and editing job offers has also been recreated for Redwood in this release. Upon clicking a job offer, users will see the new Redwood offer details displayed in the candidate application’s Offer tab.
The new Redwood job offer details page enhances user experience by streamlining tabs and sections, allowing users to access more information on a single page and reducing the need for extra navigation, saving time and effort.

For those readers thinking, “when will ‘Create Job Offer’ be recreated for Redwood?” This is currently targeted for 25B.
Oracle Recruiting
Express Apply
This new feature enables candidates to quickly fill job application fields using their profile information, reducing the effort required to apply. With a fresh, modern layout compared to the standard application flow, the updated design is optimised for readability, especially on mobile devices. It encourages candidates to import their profile data, allowing them to submit applications without reviewing the entire form, which increases the likelihood of them completing the application process.

As shown above, candidates begin by completing the form without immediately seeing the full application flow. If mandatory fields remain blank after importing their information or if validation errors occur, the relevant blocks will be displayed for candidates to make corrections. For instance, if the mandatory Middle Name field in the Contact Info block is left blank after the import, the Contact Info block will be shown for correction. Any additional errors will be handled similarly, with each block displayed on a separate page to ensure easy navigation.

New Address Block in Application Flows
The enhanced address block in the candidate application flow streamlines the process of completing address fields for job applications. Candidates can start typing their address, and the system will provide suggestions, making the process faster and more efficient.
This updated block also allows candidates to select values from location hierarchy drop-down lists with improved flexibility, enabling navigation in both directions. For instance, selecting a postcode will automatically populate related fields, such as Town and County.
When the Address Line 1 field is included in an address form for a specific country, candidates can type their address, and Oracle Maps will offer suggestions. Upon selecting an address, the Address Line 1 field is populated with the street name, while other fields are automatically completed.
This feature is optional in release 25A and will be enabled by default starting in release 25B.
Recruiting Booster
Candidate Work Summary in Job Applications
With Recruiting Booster, candidates can generate a work summary in the Oracle Recruiting Assistant when applying for a job. Leveraging AI Assist capabilities, the work summary is created based on the candidate’s CV/resume and tailored to the job they are applying for. Candidates can review and edit the summary before adding it to their application, ensuring a personalised touch.
Once the application is submitted, the work summary serves as a cover letter alongside the CV/resume and is also attached to the candidate’s profile in Recruiting. Starting with release 25A and with Redwood enabled, the work summary is now more prominently displayed to Hiring Managers and Recruiters on the Details tab of the job application page.

In summary, release 25A continues to expand the Redwood Experience and leverage Generative AI for Hiring Managers and Recruiters, driving greater recruiting efficiencies while enhancing the candidate experience.
